Overview

Paletio is designed to help painters reduce trial & error in color mixing. We respect your privacy and build features that work primarily on-device. This policy explains what we do—and don’t do—with your data.

Data Collection

We do not collect personal data. Paletio does not require an account and does not collect information that directly identifies you.

Camera & Photos: Access is used on-device when you choose to pick or capture an image to sample colors. Images are not uploaded to our servers.
Palettes & Settings: Stored locally on your device. If you back up your device, they may be included in your device backup (e.g., iCloud backup).
Diagnostics (optional): If you enable system analytics or crash reporting, Apple may share anonymous crash logs with us to improve stability. These logs do not include your photos or palettes.

Tracking

Paletio does not use third‑party tracking, advertising SDKs, or fingerprinting. We do not track you across apps or websites.

Permissions We Request

Camera — to capture images for color sampling at your request.
Photo Library — to let you choose existing images for color sampling.

You can change permissions anytime in iOS Settings > Paletio.

Children’s Privacy

Paletio is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data Retention

Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to retain on our servers. Your palettes and settings remain on your device until you delete the app or reset data from within the app (if available).

Security

We design Paletio with security in mind and avoid unnecessary network services. If we add cloud-based features in the future, this policy will be updated to explain what is stored and why.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
